- Waters House at 43 College S.E.; White mansion set behind wooded front yard. The front entrance is adorned with a two story semi-circular portico with six Corinthian columns. A large sun porch with railed deck above is seen at the left side of the image. Part of a similar feature can be seen on the other side of the house. Above the main roofline the dormers and possible 3rd level are partially obscured by the trees. There is a wire fence with narrow metal posts around the house, midway out in the yard. A large birdbath appears to the right of the image in the front yard. Everything is snow covered.

M. Monroe &Co. On Canal Street you can see: L. J. Rindge & Co. Boots & Shoes, Valley City Shoes, Dr. Camp's office, The Daily Times. Fuller & Co. Window Glass can be seen on the left. Several horse-drawn wagons are in the streets. Streetcar tracks can be seen in the middle of the roads. Ca. 1877

- New Burton School, built about 1929. Exterior winter scene showing one corner and two sides of the building. Building is essentially complete, although one set of scaffolding remains on the front, and some construction detritus such as pallets and cement blocks remain in the yard. The framework for a greenhouse or solarium can be seen attached to the building.
