- One "Map of the City of Detroit." The map was printed in black, red, green, and blue ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, railroad lines, streetcar lines, parks, and cemeteries within the city limits. In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. An advertisement for "Michell's New Clothing House" is shown in red text across the top of the sheet. The map was printed by "R. L. Polk & Co., Publishers, Detroit, Mich." at a scale of 2.5 inches = 1 mile and was dated 1895. There is a detached pocket cover entitled "Mitchell's New Clothing House."

A table of steamboat routes and distances is shown along the right edge. The map is drawn at an approximate scale of 1 inch = 22 miles. Printed text beneath the title shows "Roads, Distances & c. by J. H. Young, Philadelphia; Published by S. Augustus Mitchell." - Half-folded banquet menu autographed by Ulysses S. Grant from a luncheon held in his honorat Young's Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 15th, 1880. The menu is composed of blue fabric and cardstock, and the cover is decorated with hand painted flowers. "Complimentary to Gen. U. S. Grant by the Republican State Committee," is printed on the interior on the left. The menu is printed in pink on the right. The verso is signed by Ulysses S. Grant and printed with "Young's Hotel, October 15th, 1880."

- This partial sheet of writing paper has been torn from a larger sheet. It has light blue lines and a watermark that shows the image of a spinning wheel and the name, "Crane's." A handwritten note across the center shows "Signature of the oldest man now living in Detroit - written without the aid of glasses - Francis Martin, Naval Officer, Captain in Revenue Marine, U.S." Another handwritten note along the left edge shows "Written for Mrs. G. B. Seymour by Capt. Martin on his 100th Birthday Anniversary. June 4, 1900."
