One plan sheet entitled, "Plan of Spar Deck, F.&P.M. [Flint & Pere Marquette] Steamers, Showing Additional Capacity Due to 36 Feet 8 Inch Increased Length." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a plan view of the proposed cabin layout on the spar deck for the wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The plan was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot by Frank E. Kirby for the Detroit Dry Dock Company and is dated May, 1883. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)
