The title block in the lower left corner is shows "Q.M.G.O. [Quarter Master General Office], March, 1909." The drawing scale is shown as 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left and upper right corners shows the number, "7208."

The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a longitudinal cross-section view of the interior structural design of the fort Store House. The two-story building has a central staircase that connects the storage areas on the lower (basement/cellar), first floor, and upper levels. Trap doors are also indicated on the first floor and upper levels. Office areas are shown at each end of the building. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Separate details of the building cornice are shown at the top of the sheet at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left corner shows "Frederick D. Griffith, Pvte., Co. The drawing consists of black and red ink on linen and shows plan and cross-section views of one of the demi-lune gun batteries at the fort. The configuration of the gun platform area is shown as well as contour lines which indicate the elevation and grading for the ground slopes in the vicinity of the gun platforms. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Engineer Department, Washington, July 21, 1866, Sent to Col. Cram at Detroit with letter of this date. Rich'd Delafield, Bvt. Maj. Shows the east bastion of the star fort at Fort Wayne with a view to the northeast. Two officers are shown talking on the upper level of the fort with a troupe of soldiers marching below. The skylines of Detroit and Windsor can be seen in the distance. "Nov. 1, 61" is hand written in pencil on the bottom right corner.
