- One street map of Detroit and Eastern Wayne County that was printed by the Federal Lithograph Company of Detroit. The multicolor map is printed on white paper at a scale of 1.2 inches = 1 mile. It shows streets, street names, city and township boundaries, section numbers, railroad and streetcar lines, and the locations of new residential subdivisions and industrial sites in Dearborn and southwest Detroit. Several tables along the left side of the sheet give statistics on population growth, projected city boundaries in 1930, and leading industries. The map features residential developments of the "Glover Watson Organization" and the company name appears prominently in several inset advertisements across the map.

The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- 2-page letter written by Frederick K. Stearns, President of Frederick Stearns & Co. It was typewritten in blue text onto slightly yellowed, thin linen paper which has a watermark that shows a shield emblem with the words, "Perfection Linen." The letter is dated Dec. 31st, 1900, and the last page is signed in black ink, "Frederick Kimball Stearns." The body of the letter gives a brief overview of the principal persons and companies that were involved with pharmaceutical manufacturing in Detroit in the 19th century. Both pages have several handwritten corrections.

- Certificate of election certifying Hazen S. Pingree's election as Governor of Michigan in 1898. It is affixed with the gold seal of the State of Michigan and red, white, and blue ribbon on the bottom left. The text of the certificate is as follows: "State of Michigan Certificate of Election We the undersigned, State Canvassers, from a careful examination of the Election Returns from all the Counties in the State of Michigan, as received by the Secretary of State do determine, as the result of our investigation, that Hazen S. Pingree has been, by the greatest number of votes, duly elected to the office of Governor of said State for the full term of Two Years from the first day of January, A.D. eighteen hundred and ninety-nine at the General Election holden on the eighth day of November A.D. 1898. Witness our Hands, at Lansing, this fifteenth day of December A.D. 1898. Washington Gardner Secretary of State Geo. A. Steel State Treasurer. Wm. A. French Com'r State Land Office. State of Michigan Office of the Secretary of State. I do hereby Certify, That I have compared the foregoing copy of the determination of the Board of State Canvassers with the original on file in this office, and that it is a correct transcript therefrom, and of the whole of such original. - Plan for the Konaske Airship, designed by Art Konaske of 180 Mack Street, stapled to a two page note to Russell A. Alger Jr. written on Hotel Griswold stationery, and dated February 17, 1916. The plan shows a profile cut-away of a small military airship with a enclosed gondola with two seats--one for the pilot, and the other for a gunner. The airship's balloon is outfitted with an airfoil, and both vertical and horizontal propellers are employed for lift and propulsion. The note reads: Mr. Russell A. Alger, Dear Sir, Enclosed find blueprint circular of airship, which I hope may prove of interest to you. It is going to be a sure winner and as I am told, you are "Pres. of Aviation Club." Would be glad to have interview at your convenience to explain details and mfg. etc. A phone call will find me at above hotel--Rm 416 for appointment for interview which shall try to make of much interest to you. A admittance, and main floor seat ticket to the Labor Contest Carnival held at the Detroit Light Guard Armory between Wednesday November 28th and December 4th by the Detroit Federation of Labor. The ticket bears a printing of the signature of Louis W. Buckley, Manager. The verso is printed with "Special Grocers' Ticket, Good only Friday, Nov. 30th, 1906. Compliments of National Grocer Company, "Light House Coffee," and has been stamped with the seal of the Detroit Federation of Labor.

Pingree, dated December 4, 1903, written to accompany an account statement four promissory notes on the remaining cost of the construction of her mausoleum. The letter instructs her to sign, and return the notes, and notes that they do on bear interest. The letter is signed by the company's president W.H. Harrison.

- One plan sheet entitled, "Cabin Plan for Strs. 59/60 for Ft. & P.M. [Flint & Pere Marquette] R.R." The drawing consists of black and red ink on linen and shows a plan view of the proposed cabin layout for the wooden-hulled, propeller-driven, passenger steamships. The plan was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot by Frank E. Kirby for the Detroit Dry Dock Company and is dated May, 1882. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)

- One set of architectural drawings of a residential house. The drawings (Job 276) consist of brown and black ink on linen and shows a 3-story, residential house. Some brown pencil shading has also been added in order to highlight the architectural features. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of nine sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," for the "Roney Land Company." The house is located on Hawthorne Road near Lake Shore Boulevard.

Grant by the Republican State Committee," is printed on the interior on the left. The menu is printed in pink on the right. The verso is signed by Ulysses S. Moore, Peter Desnoyers, Oliver M. Hyde, C.R. Desnoyers, and B. Woodworth.

- Typewritten letter from Walter E. Morrison, president of the Dow Portable Electric Assistant Company of Braintree, Massachusetts to the Electric Service and Appliance Company on 166 Randolph Street, dated December 11, 1901, written in reply to a previous letter from the company. Morrison, or someone writing on his behalf states that "our Mr. Morrison" will be leaving on a trip on Friday, but he will call from his trip if possible. Additionally the letter says that there has been a delay in the manufacturing of the six inch park coils which the Electric Service and Appliance Company has ordered. Morrison's signature closes the letter. It is printed on Dow Portable Electric Assistant Company letterhead, which includes an engraving of a portable receiver built into a carrying case.

- Detroit Fire Department active duty certificate, engraved by Capewell and Kimmel, and issued to G.W. Hallam on June 1, 1861. The document bears the signatures of President Benjamin Vernor, and Secretary Henry Starkey, beside a yellow embossed Fire Department of the City of Detroit seal. Illustrations of uniformed firefighters, an early fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, the seal of the State of Michigan, and Neptune flanked by two winged monsters are bordered by scrollwork. The certificate is mounted on linen.

- One drawing that shows a cross-section view of a piston, cylinder and crankshaft assembly. The valve and camshaft configuration are also shown at the top of the cylinder. The drawing consists of black pencil on vellum paper and includes colored pencil shading to highlight the various parts. The drawing is dated and signed "6-20-16, JSB [James Scripps Booth]" near the center of the sheet. Handwritten pencil text on the right shows "Suggested Scripps Booth 1917, 4 cyl. - One navigational chart entitled, "Chart No. 1 of River Ste. Marie from Point Iroquois to East Neebish." The area was "Surveyed under the direction of Captain J. N. Macomb, Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers] in 1853, 1854, & 1855, with additions to date under the orders of Captain G. G. Meade, Topl. Engrs., 1857." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:40,000 and covers several miles of the St. Mary's River both upstream and downstream of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, with information such as soundings in feet, river bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the Bureau of Topographical Engineers of the War Department (later known as the Army Corps of Engineers). Small printed text in the lower right corner shows "Engraved by W. H. Dougal." Small printed text in the lower left corner shows "Reduced for Engraving by J. U. Mueller." An adhesive label on the left side shows "Detroit, Mar. 5th, 1884, Presented to the Tug, Chas. E. Bird."
