Black and white postcard depicting the Belle Isle Bridge on Fire, from aboard a fire tug, part of which is visible at the lower left. A dock which extends underneath the bridge is also caught in the fire. The center of the bridge has completely burned. Jets of water from another fire tug are visible in the background near the bridge's opposite end. "W.D. Benham Co., Detroit, Mich." printed on verso.
