- Half-folded luncheon menu from the Hotel Pontchartrain, dated Tuesday, February 12, 1918. The cover declares that the hotel is a member of the United States Food Administration, and urges the conservation of food for the war effort. Additionally, a disclaimer on the cover cautions that the management declines responsibility to damage to clothing caused by accidents in the dining room. A special Business Men's Luncheon is offered with in, as well as oysters, hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish, vegetables, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.

- Mounted sepia-toned photograph taken of a fire engine and a hose apparatus in the intersection of Grand River Avenue, Griswold Street, and Rowland Street (now Shelby Street), behind the ruins of Capitol High School following its fire on January 27, 1893, facing the south. A crowd of spectators have gathered around the steam engine from which a cloud of smoke rises. Firefighers are using hoses to spray both the eastern face of the building along Griswold, and the western one along Shelby in the background. Snow covers the ground, and ice coats the eastern face of the school. Signs for Howard's Sandwichs and Coffee, the Siau Laundering Company, and the Chamber of Commerce are visible along Shelby on the right. The photo is mounted on beige cardstock. "From Alvord & Co. Exclusively, Commercial Photographers, 55 Rowland St. Detroit, Mich., Ground Floor," is stamped on the verso, and "Rear view Capitol High School on fire - Jan. 27, 1893," is handwritten..

- Sepia-toned photo of three employees of the Merchants Credit Bureau--Estelle Koehler, Judie Strandburg, and Marion Maus, as indicated by a handwritten notes on both the recto and verso--kneeling in winter coats of the roof of the Merchants Building, on the east corner of Grand River Avenue and Broadway Avenue. Snow has accumulated on the roof's surfaces. The caption, "Coldest in Six Years," has been handwritten at the bottom of the recto. "1923," is handwritten on the verso. The remnants of stripes used to affix the photo in an album are on the corners.

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Main Truss, Mexican River Steamer." The drawing shows a port side interior profile view of the internal structure of the hull of the sternwheel river steamship. The title block indicates that the plan was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated January, 1902. The name, "H. S. Taft," is also shown and may be the name of the steamship.
