The four-page supplement is printed in black ink on white paper and features several articles on the first two pages about Christianity, Society, and John Wesley. An engraved drawing, "A Happy Home Thanksgiving Day," is shown on the first page. The third page features a full-page advertisement for the "United States Baking Company." The last page includes several short articles and advertisements.

- Black and white panoramic photograph, "Ceremony of 'Turning the Sod' of the New Masonic Temple" on Thanksgiving Day, 1920. The photograph was taken from the intersection of 2nd Ave. and Bagg (now Temple) Street with a view to the northwest. It shows a large crowd of masons, photographers, and other spectators watching as the first sod is turned for the Detroit Masonic Temple. Masonic lodges present include the Detroit Lodge, the Ashlar Lodge, the Schiller Lodge, the Zion Lodge, and the Union Lodge. Most Worshipful Grand Master Ira A. Beck is shown turning the first sod at center left. Standing around Beck are, from left to right: Bro. Frederick A. Cook, master of ceremonies, Bro. John H. Hanna, grand marshall, Bro. John B. Corliss, 33° orator of the day, Bro. Lewis R. Gorton, 33° chairman of the invitation committee, Bro. Wm. H. Reynolds, president of the Masonic Temple Association, and Bro. George W. Graves, custodian of the silver spade. Behind them is an American flag-draped dais with other distinguished masons and guest. Of note is an early Magnavox loudspeaker in the center of the dais. The photograph is in a frame with plaque reading "Presented to Detroit Historical Society by Carl Rosenfield 1920-1953"

The menu consists of two pages of heavy beige marbled paper, bound together with green and yellow ribbon at the top center. The cover page has an illustration of four ears of corn, along with the crest of the Hotel Charlevoix. Dinner options are listed on the second page.

- Menu and program booklet from a Thanksgiving dinner served at the Wayne on Thursday, November 27, 1902. The menu is bound in a cream colored cardstock cover with white thread. A blackface caricature of a child rides on the back of a turkey holding an ear of corn hung from a stick in front of the bird on the cover. A list of pieces to be performed by Haug's Orchestra, as well as a list of the dishes to be served are contained within. "Very good. Give us More." is handwritten inside on the blank side of the inner leaf.

- Envelope and invitation to a Thanksgiving dinner written and sent by William Woodbridge to Dr. L. Abbot of Detroit. The invitation is handwritten on the verso of William Woodbridge's calling card. The note reads: Springwells Nov. 23 1852 D-Sir, Will you join us in a family dinner on Thanksgiving Day? We dine at one o clk P.M. Yours Truely Wm. Woodbridge. Doc L. Abbott.

- Russell House Thanksgiving dinner menu, dated November 28, 1901, consisting of two sheets of cardboard bound with twine. A hand-painted image of a pilgrim holding a pumpkin, walking with a Turkey against a snowy background is on the cover. A program of pieces to be performed by the Russell House Orchestra, as well as the menu itself are contained within. A hand-painted image of a pig's head on a plate, surrounded by a wreath containing ears of corn is on the back cover of the menu.

- Menu for Thanksgiving dinner at the Hotel Normandie in 1891. The menu is bound in light blue crush embossed paper with a white ribbon and orange wax seal emblazoned with "HN, Detroit" affixed to the cover, and was printed by Winn and Hammond of Detroit. Six pages are contained within. "Thanks Giving 1891," is printed on the third on a green background. A menu is spread across the fourth and fifth pages, listing a variety of dishes ranging from the traditional like stuffed young turkey and sweet potatoes, to stuffed mallard with jelly and fresh lobster. The menu is decorated with small green illustrations of a turkey, a stylized fish, and ten cartoonish characters seated on a long bench eating. "Carr and Reeve" is printed on the last page above a green illustration of a bunch of flowers with their stems wrapped in a ribbon.

The cover is off-white paper with hand-painted lavender and white flowers, and with a ivory-colored ribbon threaded through it diagonally terminating in a bow. The interior pages are printed on cardstock. A list of dishes offered is on the first page. The Swart Brothers are listed as the proprietors at the bottom of the page. A list of musical selections and dances to be performed is on the following page. "1895," is printed on the back cover in a decorative script.
