bowl, outside is decorated with a narrow band containing three braided lines. In the intervals there occur vegetal motifs, whole animals or parts, mostly heads. Animals; consist of birds, horned beasts, and female-headed monsters. Around the basin's outer surface, a large calligraphic inscription praises the last Ayyubid prince Najm al-Din Ayyub. Brass (Pearls of Wisdom, Gruber; Dimmig).
