Carthage; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired); Slip

Description:

Reddish, micaceous clay with traces of red slip or glaze. Small lamp with rather long rounded nozzle. Rim about wick hole. Mask at base of nozzle. Ovule pattern on rim. Double raised circle about plain discus with central filling hole. Projection on either side of lamp and slight projection at back. Base ring.
