Karanis; Textiles; Wool
This fragment consists of two yellowed woven wool fragments (A1 and A2) from the same web and three smaller fragments with yellow warp and blue weft (B1, B2 and B3) from the same web. Fragment B1 has a 0.2 cm wide yellow weft band. Fragments A1 and A2 were sewn to each other and B2 and B3 were sewn to A1, while B1 was sewn to A2. There is a very small amount of red wool fiber in fragment A1.
