Knitted Fragment; Karanis; Textiles; Wool; undecorated
The above measurements do not reflect warp and weft direction as this fragment consists of small pieces of needle knitted (cross knit looping?) yellowed wool. The measurements are for the two pieces that are still attached. Another piece, 3cm x 2 cm, is very similar and included with the other piece.
