Description:

Reddish buff micaceous clay with reddish slip. Broken top of lamp. Short nozzle broken, extends across rim and sides converge toward base. Air hole in neck. Stamped circle on either side of base of nozzle and handle. On either side of plain rim, two parallel lines, herring bone pattern between and stamped circle on either side. On discus, nude winged figure of Eros, proceeding to front right, head turned to left, wears fillet, holds Pan’s pipes to lips with right hand, thyrsus held down in left, chlamys arranged like scarf over arms. Handle missing.
