Description:

Mended. Clay chipped away below handle. Upper half of palmette gone. Tongue pattern on neck. Egg and dart design on shoulder once had gold on its raised dots. Palmette with flanking scrolls beneath handle. Reserved: edge and underside of foot; bands above and below heads. Two women’s heads, confronted, wearing sakkoi. White slip with egg shell luster for flesh. Features and hair ends drawn with thinned yellow glaze.
