Description:

Pinkish buff micaceous clay with worn red slip. Heart-shaped nozzle extends part way across the rim. Stamped ovule pattern on rim. Raised band set off by grooves between rim and discus. On discus standing figure (Hermes?), facing front, seems to be leaning on staff. Moulded ring handle. Base ring set off by grooves. Stamp in very indistinct letters. Nozzle slightly blackened. Piece broken from under side and under side of nozzle chipped.
