Natural warp, natural and purple weft, natural weft twining. Fragment of a predominately weft faced plain weave. Purple wefts form narrow band ca. .3cm wide. Three sets of weft twining; each consist of two rows, countered; Fragment of yellowed woven wool fabric with a 0.4 cm wide (8 picks) weft band near the center. There are three rows of weft-twining present; 1 cm from the purple band, 0.7 cm on the other side of the purple band, 6.5 cm from the second twining row. The twining loops pass over three warps each.
