Vertical head, most likely of Hathor, although perhaps of Mehture, wearing sun disc between horns, and amulet, looking straight out. Perhaps originally had uraeus. Wears necklace and bulla pendant. Eyes are large with indicated lids and eyebrows. Rather petite muzzle. Planes of face are broadly defined and rounded. Mouth is an inverted U-shaped “drill” channel. Backside has no detail but is given a bulge at neck which swells toward bottom. Pinkish gray clay (Muns. 7.5YR6/2) moulded hollow and sealed at sides. Bottom is large and open. Good condition.
