1893 Cyclone Damage on High Street
April 12, 1893 cyclone damage to High Street - Inscription on back indicates the building in the center facing the camera was High Street Chapel that was later moved to Grove Street. The residence at left was identified as "Grandpa Eaton's", perhaps referring to Caleb Eaton whose widow Margaret lived at 28 High Street. The inscription on back further states that this house was moved seven feet off its foundation by the cyclone.
