April 12, 1893 Cyclone Damage to Ypsilanti Opera House in a photograph that captured some observers. The building in background is the Hawkins House, a hotel where one interior wall was left exposed. Narrative on the back of the photo says "showing where room No 13 where man in bed came down with the crash in dining room but not hurt."
