Description:
Grand Army of the Republic Parade Float of the American Legion with a Spanish war veteran, Civil War veteran, World War I veteran. Taken at the time of the G.A.R. convention in Grand Rapids, 1925. The float appears to be the same one as pictured in image no. 193. Eight men in military uniform are standing or sitting on top of the float. The men are identified as: 1.Earl Snyder, World War I; 2.Corp. F. H. Denning, World War I; 3.Henry H. Spring, World War I; 4.Charles Trepke, sailor, World War I; 5.John T. Major, Union Veteran; 6.Roy Walker, Union Veteran; 7.Alfred Clawson, Union Veteran; 8.R. Russell, Union Veteran; 1927
