Black-and-white photograph showing an architectural rendering of the Walwood Union and Dormitory for Women, East Campus of Western Michigan University. The building is rendered in brush and ink. The building was designed by Malcomson, Calder, and Hammond, Inc. in Detroit, Michigan. The drawing is signed in lower left: Ralph Calder, 1937. Originally built in 1938 as Walwood Union and Dormitory for Women, named after President Dwight B. Waldo and Professor Leslie H. Wood. Later the building was known as Walwood Hall, a men's residence hall. The rendering was featured in the Alumni Magazine Vol. 1, no. 3 (October 1938).
