Player in all white uniform, near net, shooting the ball. According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel this is a picture of Ken "Red" McNeil of Grand Rapids Christian '47. McNeil was one of a group of City League seniors who graduated at the end of the first semester and consequently were ineligible. Many of these players were among the best on their teams so some teams experienced a drop-off in success the second half of the season. McNeil started high school at Davis Tech and transferred to Christian when Davis Tech closed.
