Bursley, a co-educational residence hall, accommodates 1,200 students. Opened in 1968 and has eight houses named after Silas Hamilton Douglas, Alice Hamilton, Harley Harris Bartlett, Howard B. Lewis, Barbara Rotvig, Amanda Sanford (Hickey), Arthur J. Van Duren Jr., and Bertha Van Hoosen.
