Predominantly male figure, heroically draped, with right knee flexed, carries abdominal roll of drapery on left arm and holds jumpweight (Halteres) before abdomen with left hand. Right hand drops to side and holds strigil. Head shows coiffure (red) of flounced melon hairstyle with sphendone (blue). Chest bare and painted red, face red. High trapezoidal base indicated. Pinkish gray clay (Muns 7.5 yr. 7/2) moulded hollow and sealed at sides; head separately moulded and attached, seams smoothed over and well planned. Large rectangular aperture (9.7) rearside. Bottom open. Fingerprints. Mixing and matching of separately molded parts common in Greek terra cotta workshops.
