Fragment from Decretals of Gregory IX with marginal commentary
Description:
Numerous notes and annotation in the margins appear to have been written by another scribe writing in Gothic Semitextualis due to differential letter forms, especially in the case of the letters "a" and "d". The notations indicate that this manuscript was likely used by a number of people and due to the currens style of the script in the margins, it is likely that this manuscript was from a personally owned volume.
