Description:
A view of dams in the Grand River. The photo is taken looking north from the east bank near Bridge Street, up the almost dry riverbed toward the Fourth Street dam and the Sixth Street bridge beyond it. Fine Arts Furniture Company can be seen in the distance on the right side of the image. The Fox Typewriter factory and the Add-Index Corporation (makers of adding machines) can be seen on the left of the photograph, as well as several other industries and buildings along the river.
