The photograph was taken for Mr. Bob Gugler. An article in the Kalamazoo Gazette, dated January 9, 1944, page 18, reported on the event and listed the following guests: Jan (Jacquelyn) Correll, Jack Benson, Gordon Pell [Peil?], Lynn Ingersoll, Thomas Eberly, Ann Doyle, Janie Ten Brink, Carot [Carita] Richardson and Robert Gugler. Each guests' placement in the photograph is unconfirmed.
