Harper and Parsons Ad
Probably an advertisement of Grove Parsons Men's Clothing Store. Started by Cornelius Parsons, son of Orrin and Rebecca (Fuller) Parsons, born in Saline on January 18, 1832. Cornelius first had a hardware business with a Mr. Judd and later a Mr. Northrup. Later he associated in dry goods with an H. L. Miller and this became the dry goods business run for many years by his son Grove at 100 East Michigan Avenue. No reference to a Harper in business with Grove Parsons in 1894 can be found.
