J. Feuerbacher Blacksmith Shop
Pictured is John Feuerbacher and his son Edward about 1910 in front of their blacksmith and welding shop. Most of the farm repair business was done at this type of business at that time. This is located at 406 N. Ann Arbor Street, which is the present location of Carquest Auto Parts.; Behind this building was a second business of buying and selling scrap iron. When enough was purchased it was then sold and was loaded onto railroad cars, which were directly to the south of this business. The railroad depot is still in the same location as always.
