Kelloggsville (Mich.) Halfway House
Description:
Old halfway house on South Division road. Old roadhouse of long ago. Two story square clapboard building of simple design. A flat roofed portico, supported by straight poles in the corners, covers the front entrance. On each side of the portico are two sash windows. On the second floor is a center door above the portico, with two shuttered windows on each side. Along the side of the building is a second entrance and two more windows on the main floor, while on the second floor are 3 more windows. Behind the structure an additional building can be seen which could be part of the halfway house. At the left side of the image, beyond a wooden fence, is a more modern two-story house, of which only part of the side can be seen.
