Black-and-white photograph of the Living Room in Walwood Union Building, East Campus, Western Michigan University. View features the interior of the bay window and seating furniture, most prominent being a u-shaped sectional. Originally built in 1938 as Walwood Union and Dormitory for Women, named after President Dwight B. Waldo and Professor Leslie H. Wood. Later the building was known as Walwood Hall, a men's residence hall. The furniture was designed by Lydia Siedschlag, head of the Art Department of Western Michigan College. The image was featured in the Western Michigan College News Magazine Vol. 4, no. 2.
