Mastodon foot print

Mastodon foot print

Description:

An exhibit of the mastodon is on display at the UM Museum of Natural History. An 11,000 year-old mastodon trackway was discovered in 1992 when Harry Brennan began excavating a low area for a pond west of Saline on W. Michigan Ave and Feldkamp Road. This extraordinary trackway shows the footprints of a mastodon bull, cow, and calf.
