Description:

Four businesses with damage to a fifth destroyed by fire at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Concern for a mother and three children, whose home was in the upper floors, was relieved when it was found they were on vacation at the time of the fire.; Destroyed in fire: Woods Hardware and Appliance, a shoe repair shop operated by George Seeger, George's Bar and a plumbing and heating shop operated by Henry Schroen. Walker's Variety Shop next door was partially damaged. Ken Rogers is man in photo.
