Oral history interview with Bud Norris conducted by John R. G. Barrett, Jr on December 6, 1994. Norris briefly describes his early childhood, how he came to as a student to WMU in the 1940s, and his later experiences as a student teacher. He also describes how the faculty and student dynamics changed in response to the return of World War II veterans. Norris graduated with a triple major in Biology, History, and Physical Education. He describes notable professors. After graduation in 1950, he taught at a couple universities before returning to WMU as the Alumni Director in 1959. He describes notable changes to campus since graduation, fund raising efforts for building projects on WMU campsus, working for L. Dale Faunce, a job offer at the Upjohn Company in the 1960s, and WMU’s continuing influence. Budd Norris passed away on January 28, 1997.
