Paul Pommer correspondence, 1916-12-17, World War I
Letter from Emilie Schnorr, addressed to musketeer Paul Pommer in Bad Orb. Postmarked Frankfurt am Main, December 16, 1916. She received Paul’s letter. She writes about Christmas time and how under these conditions it is not as joyful as even a year back. She thinks that now Pommer is out of training he probably sees how being a soldier in the war truly is and encourages him to remain valiant and think about god. Even the difficult days are beneficial in a way and he should not give up on his Fatherland. She ends by sending him and his family Christmas wishes.
