Letter from musketeer Paul Pommer, addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Postmarked Bad Orb, Übungsplatz, December 20, 1916. Pommer writes to his family about their recent letter where they said they were excited to see him for Christmas, but Pommer replies that he may not be allowed a Christmas vacation. He will have to wait until the new recruits arrive until he knows for sure. He describes eleven men traveling through Bad Orb to Karlsruhe. Discusses what he would like in his next package from home.
