Postcard from musketeer Paul Pommer, addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Dated January 2, postmarked Bad Orb, Übungsplatz, January 3, 1917. Pommer writes about all the letters he’s received in the new year from his sister Lydia and friends at home. He describes how they are preparing for the new recruits arriving the next day. He asks if they could send him some handkerchiefs and details his other needs.
