Letter from musketeer Paul Pommer, addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Letter is dated December 19, envelope postmarked Friedberg, Hessen, December 20, 1917. Pommer details correspondence between himself and his parents. He describes how Friedberg is worse than Bad Orb. He ponders about the prospects of a vacation and how it may not work out same as the year prior, but it may work out for his brother Martin. He writes about where he would arrive if he does receive leave to visit his family.
