Postcard from musketeer Paul Pommer, addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Dated January 4, postmarked Kais Deutsche Feldpost. Pommer details his day in Belgium, comparing it to his time in Friedberg. He remarks that the food is much better here than on the front, there is always something in stock, no shortages. He is at that moment waiting for his regiment's official appointment to a region.
