Postcard from Elisabett Schmia to musketeer Paul Pommer in Niederrad, Germany, dated February 26, 1918. Postmarked K.D. Feldpost, February 26, 1918. In the letter, Schmia thanks Pommer for his letter and apologizes her delayed reply. She is pleased that Pommer has gotten to know Frieda Schneider. She apologizes that she and some others missed Pommer’s last visit home. Uncertain what to write, she updates Pommer on home and the harsh living conditions. She promises to write more in her next letter. The letter starts on the back and continues into the postage side.
