Paul Pommer correspondence, 1918-03-08, World War I
Letter from musketeer Paul Pommer addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Postmarked K.D. Feldpost, March 10, 1918. Pommer complains about the postal system and its inefficiencies. He does recognize though that the weather has improved significantly, which makes him feel optimistic about the future. He mentions receiving a letter from brother Martin, but that Martin had not received some food Pommer sent. Pommer did receive some cigarettes from Herr Wuedker.
