Paul Pommer correspondence, 1918-05-22, World War I
Letter from musketeer Paul Pommer addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Postmarked Kriegslazarett Brussels Feldpost, hand dated May 22, 1918. Envelope has a photograph of the facade of the Marienkirche in Brussels. Pommer writes that he will finally be coming back to Germany. The day before the doctor came and asked if Pommer wanted to go to Germany for treatment, which Pommer gladly said yes. He hopes he will be in a hospital close to Frankfurt. He will let his family know his new address once he arrives. Pommer also states that he forgot to mention his thanks for Martin's letter, and sends his best greetings.
