Paul Pommer correspondence, 1918-07-02, World War I
Postcard from musketeer Paul Pommer addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Postmarked Glogau, July 2, 1918. Pommer thanks his brother Martin for the letter about news in Frankfurt. He expresses lament over the death of several local men in the war. He asks about Karl Kuemmerte, wondering where he is. He addresses Martin's interest in the fruit and admits that there is much less where he is. During the week Pommer writes that he should receive more news on his situation. Pommer briefly states that he was out the day prior at the youth coalition.
