Paul Pommer correspondence and miscellaneous writings, 1918-04-16, World War I
A loose notepad of writings by musketeer Paul Pommer, hand dated April 16, 1918. Writings include poetry about the war that either Pommer heard and wrote down or wrote himself. On one page, Pommer addresses his family, and mentions his hopes for returning home. The “letter” is fragmented, possibly a draft. He also provides locations that he has likely visited, more poetry on the war experience, and a drawing of a cross-shaped grid containing roman numerals.
