View feature features the altar and nave area of the Rectory of St. James Chapel, as well as the prominent triptych (three-panel) altarpiece behind Rev. Murphy. A line of young men kneel on the left side of the raised altar, all facing the chaplain. Another kneels on the first stair (to the right of the chaplain). All are wearing long robes and Rev. Murphy is wearing clerical vestments. The photograph was taken for George Preston and the Howe Military School. Rev. Robert J. Murphy was the chaplain for the School at the time.
