Rome; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip
Pale buff micaceous clay with traces of red slip. Triangular-shaped lamp with apex forming the nozzle, the end of which is missing. Broad, almost flat rim, on which are three heads in relief, one on the neck and one on either side in the angles. Raised circular band about small concave discus with central filling hole and small air hole at base of nozzle. Band is interrupted at base of nozzle by narrow channel. Molded ring handle, two grooves on upper half. Plain triangular-shaped base on which is incised: C. Lol (li) Dia (dumeni).
