Brown and blue cloth. Blue and yellow string. Fair condition. One strip of brown cloth wrapped around two strips blue for head. Head set in brown body wrapped with yellow string.; Doll made from fragments of three different woven wool fabrics.; Fragment A - two inner layers, brown warp, purple weft; Fragment B - outer layer (wrapped around fragment A. Brown/gold warp and weft. Row of countered weft-twining. The twining loops pass over three warps.; Fragment C - wrapped around the outside of fragments A and B. Light brown warp and weft.; Fragment A was folded twice, loosely, and fragment B was folded over A. There is a green/blue 2-ply yarn wrapped loosely around them. Fragment C was wrapped twice around the outside and tied with a 2-strand yellow yarn. This yarn wraps around the doll’s “neck”, crosses in the back and wraps around fragment C where it was tied at the side.
