Tucker Chicago Plant Assembly Line
Circa 1948 photograph of the Tucker "Torpedo" assembly line in the Chicago plant where approximately fifty automobiles were produced between 1947 and 1949, when Preston Tucker was tried for SEC violations (and acquitted), which ultimately caused the plant to close and the business to fold.
