Description:
Couse (1866-1936) raised in Saginaw, MI. Trained at Art Inst. of Chicago and Nat'l Academy of Design. Moved to Paris in 1886 until 1896. One of six founders of Taos Society of Artists. Recognized for paintings of native Americans.
