- Major Watson house in the hands of the wreckers, rear view. Torn down about 1927. In this rear view, two multi-story buildings can be seen towering above the missing roof; the one to the left is marked “Metz Building.” A sign on sawhorses near the right side of the image says “Owen Ames and Kimball." An interesting architectural feature remaining on the house is a circular window on the second floor, supported by a pillar. Several workmen are standing around amid the rubble. Chutes are mounted in the 2nd floor windows.

- Large, square 2-story (plus ground level) building on the corner of Lyon and Ransom, built of variegated split stone. Photo is taken from the corner of the house, showing front and one side. Part of a wing attached to the other side of the house can be seen on the right-hand side of the photo. The two side windows on the main floor flank a larger arched aperture, possibly a door, although no steps can be seen due to foliage. Tree leaves hide much of the front of the house. A small wooden porch with side steps leads to the front door. The porch has a wooden railing and wooden latticework beneath. Another porch with steps accesses the wing. Three rock terraces lead up to the front lawn, which bears the sign “Private, Keep Out.”

- Razing the Godfrey house on the corner of Fulton and East Park. Image shows a partially demolished 1½ story wood-sided house with shutters. Most of the fencing around the yard is gone, but some posts remain. A hand-lettered sign on the building says “All material for sale”. Two men dressed in hats and topcoats are leaning on a corner fence post in front of the house. Parts of adjacent buildings can be seen, as well as a street sign for Fulton St. E. There is a good picture of a streetlamp with five globe lights in the foreground. Attached to it are signs for highway US131 and M50. The brick street and streetcar tracks are visible in the foreground.

- Small image (2 ½ x 3). “Grand Rapids Museum, Jefferson Av.” A two-story brick residential style building, with steps leading up to a small front porch and entrance in the center. The porch motif is carried up to the second and third level of the center front. There is a small side porch of white painted wood. The lettering above the porch appears to say “Museum”, but is reversed; therefore presumably the photo is printed in reverse.

- Major Watson house, corner of Sheldon and Fulton, front view. Torn down about 1928. Partially demolished two-story Victorian style brick house. The roof is completely gone. Workers stand atop the remaining structure. At the left side of the house, a railed balcony tops the off-center front entrance portico. The corner of the house has a tower room on both floors (although there is no tower). The main floor of the tower has its own roofline, with interesting decorative scrollwork above. In the distance on the right side of the image is a building with the sign “[Y] W C A”, (the “Y” is blocked by a tree). On the other side of the house, set back behind an ironwork fence, is another unidentified building.
